Oya Orisha of Wind, Storm, and Transformation Bronze Statue (Mini)

An Orisha is a spirit that reflects one of the manifestations of God in Africa's Yoruba religion. Many Orishas have found their way throughout he Americas via the Atlantic slave trade and are now expressed in practices as varied as Santeria, Candomble, Trinidad Orisha, and Oyotunji.
 
Oya is the Orisha of tempest and love. She embodies the gentlest breeze to the raging cyclone. With her powers and machete she clears a path for new life and watches over the newly dead as they transit to the underworld.
