Skadi is the Norse goddess of winter, hunting, and mountains in Norse mythology. She is a fierce warrior and the daughter of the giant Thiazi. Known for her strong connection to the ice and snow, Skadi is often depicted with skis or snowshoes and is associated with the strength and endurance required to survive in harsh, wintry environments. She is also the vengeful avenger who demanded retribution for her father's death, eventually marrying the god Njord as a part of the compensation.
